{Discovery}

Someday, they'll tell her where she came from. 
That she and her brother Ash aren't related to the others by blood. That they were born in the dunes, amongst heat and sand and death. They'll tell her about her lost sister, about her real mother, and how Papa was the one who found them, who brought them to safety. She'll know that they're different, whether Mama and Papa want it or not. And maybe she'll care. and maybe she won't. All she knows now are the squeals and squeaks of her siblings, and the smoky scent of Papa, his deep voice, smooth and comforting. Mama, warm and soft and smelling of milk and sunshine. It's all she knows.
And it's home.

Kav's origins are a mystery. She and her biological brother were found in the woods during the drought in year 99 next to the body of their mother, who had died during their birth due to complications. Cyrus, the Green-Fire and mate to Csilla the Orange-Shadow, brought the two kittens back to Light-Tribe, where they were raised alongside the pairs own kittens. Kav and her siblings shared the nursery with a whopping 7 other kittens, 4 of which belonged to the Silver-Light, and 3 from the Yellow-Water. Of all her nursery-mates, Kav took a liking to Lily and Lee the most, and spent much of her kithood in their company. When the litter turned 3 moons old, they moved from Light-Tribe to Shadow-Tribe, where the kittens spent the rest of their youth playing amongst the minerals and stalagmites of Shadow-Tribe camp. Kav loved all her siblings equally, and adored her mother and father, even if her Papa got her gender wrong a lot.

{We're All Getting Older}

On the night of the Gathering, Kav received her tattoo and true name, taking on a new identity; Oliver, the Pink-Earth. She found it quite funny that even the Spirits seemed to think she was a boy, but took the name gladly, and now goes by Olly. She spent her early days in Earth-Tribe under the guidance of her mentor, the then Yellow-Earth Kokkinos. The two quickly formed an incredibly close bond, one that was only strengthened in the face of the Golden Butterflies, the false Alriyel, the loss of Olly's mother, Csilla and the departure of Kokkino's sister and soulbond, Isis. As she grew, Olly's loyalty to Earth-Tribe became very prevalent in her life, so much so that she did not hesitate to take back her tattoo after the Spirits were reborn. Her sister moved from Air-Tribe to Void-Tribe, but Olly knew with a calm certainty that Earth-Tribe was where she would always belong. 

{The World is Spinning}

Olly graduated as a full Soldier of Earth-Tribe not long after the Spirits returned. Now, she is two years old, with an apprentice of her own, and is eager to prove to Kokkinos that she has what it takes to not only be a good soldier, but a strong, stand-out leader.

It's not often you come across Olly without a smile on her face. Fun-loving, hyperactive and a bit of a goof, she looks at the world through eyes unclouded by hate. She is very outgoing, and is always ready to explore, roll around in the dirt with her siblings and friends, or meet someone new. She enjoys attention from others and is often seen putting on a show, making jokes or doing weird things to get a laugh out of someone. She's got a wicked sense of humour, and when she was younger, she could often be seen playing little pranks on her siblings, friends and Tribemates, like stealing bedding from the dens, or sneaking up on them from behind to give them a fright. Now that she's a little older, she doesn't do things like that as often as before, knowing that even the smallest things can mess with the inner workings of a Tribe. But if the occasional thorn shows up in someone's nest, well, it's all in good fun.
 
As she's grown, Olly has mellowed out somewhat. She's still incredibly stubborn and as unmovable as a mountain when she doesn't get her way. She's got very strong opinions and isn't afraid to voice them loudly. But with maturity comes realizations, and she knows now when it is time for fun, and when it's time to be serious. She doesn't hold grudges quite as intensely as she did as a kitten, and since  it takes a lot to make this little goof nugget angry anyway, it's never been much of an issue. With Mr. Kinos' help, Olly achieved her dream of becoming a soldier. Now, she has her sights set a little higher, hoping to one day become the head of her profession!

• Living in the Tribes is hard for any cat. Losing her brother and Mother certainly dampened her spirits for a time, but Olly is nothing if not an optimist, and as such, it takes quite a lot to bring her spirits down.

• Olly used to love play fighting with her brother Ech. Oftentimes, she will sit outside camp and look up at the stars, talking to him, or Csilla, and sometimes Tuari, a cat Kokkinos told her about.
• Though she's a little big for it now, more often than not, Olly will sneak into Kokkino's den at night to sleep.
• She never shows it, but there is a very small part of her that envies what Elliot and Adalin have.
